About Me 💫
Hey! I’m Caitlin, a Unity developer and cosy game enthusiast based in the UK.
I recently led the development of a real-world client project, taking on roles as technical coordinator, gameplay programmer, and game designer.
I’m now looking for new opportunities in game development, especially with studios that value creativity, empathy, and collaboration.

Belly Bugs VS Baddies (2025)
About
A Unity project developed for a real-world client as part of my game development bootcamp.
These were our key objectives from the brief:
Develop an engaging and educational game that promotes healthy eating habits among children.
Gamify the learning experience by using storytelling, interactive elements, and rewards.
Create an intuitive and visually appealing design assets and user interfaces, suitable for young children.
Ensure the game is accessible on both iOS and Android platforms.
My Role
I was the Project Lead in a team of five and focused on gameplay programming and game design. This included creating systems for enemy spawning and movement, battery charge mechanic and the final boss fight. As well as helping out team members with other UI elements like the main menu and tutorial. I learnt a lot about game patterns and created the object pooling system for enemies and used the observer pattern for game management. I was also in charge of our GitHub repository where I learnt to manage source control and establish best practices to avoid merge conflicts.

Solar Soul (Kenney Jam 2025)
About
My first solo game jam entry, created in 48 hours for Kenney Jam 2025. The theme was "Power", and all assets had to come from Kenney or KayKit packs.
In Solar Soul, you play as a cute solar-powered robot trying to repair their battery. Stay in the sunlight to top up your energy and solve light-based puzzles to reach the end!
My Role
I designed and developed the entire game solo in Unity, from the light-based concept to final WebGL build. This included all gameplay programming, level design (surprisingly hard!), UI implementation and bug fixing under time pressure. I also organised my workflow to prioritise scope, polish, and player feedback during the jam.
